3 Sweden scales B2B communications beyond PBX with a “mobile-first” subscription built on Telavox Platform.

Three Sweden (3) selected Telavox Platform to power a tiered B2B communications strategy that expands beyond the traditional PBX-centric model, demonstrating how operators can unlock recurring revenue across their broader business customer base.

With 3Koppla, Three Sweden built a tiered B2B offering on Telavox Platform that doesn’t require businesses to commit to a complete UCaaS solution upfront. Instead, the mobile-first entry tier adds AI, and collaboration capabilities directly to existing business SIMs – meeting users where they already are.

The approach creates a clear digital journey for business customers: an accessible entry tier that delivers immediate value, with built-in expansion opportunities as organizations mature, add users, or require more sophisticated communication workflows.

A simple idea with outsized impact

Three Sweden launched 3Koppla with a simple but strategic premise: not every business needs a full PBX system on day one. The offering includes two tiers – 3Koppla Light, a mobile-first subscription that adds AI and collaboration capabilities directly to business SIMs, and 3Koppla Complete, a full UCaaS solution for organizations with advanced call handling and admin requirements.

This structure delivers three key outcomes for operators: it extends communications value across the entire B2B customer base rather than just PBX-ready accounts, it creates a foundation for introducing AI-enabled services at scale, and it establishes a lower-friction entry point that supports organic growth through in-life upgrades as business needs evolve.

“The biggest limiter in B2B voice isn’t technology – it’s addressable market,” said Bjorn Palm, VP Nordics at Telavox Platform. “Three proved that a mobile-first tier can unlock the broader base and then grow from there, while creating room for AI by default in SIM subscriptions. You may trade a bit of blended ARPU, but you gain a much bigger revenue pool.”

” With 3Koppla we launched a scalable B2B communications proposition that fits how businesses actually work today: mobile-first, with a clear upgrade path,” said Johan Horberg, CCO, Three Sweden.
