  1. You need to have a Telavox user- or PBX license.
  2. You also need a Microsoft license which includes Microsoft Entra ID.
  3. Please contact your Telavox customer success manager for further details on the integration. Note: An on-premise solution will not work with the current setup.


Can I buy a Microsoft license from Telavox?

No, Telavox does not sell Microsoft licenses. 

How does Telavox  match users with entries in external Active Directory? 

We use the email address to check if the Entra ID Active Directory has a unique entry that corresponds to the Telavox email address.

If I make updates to a user profile in the Telavox admin portal, will they automatically appear in the Entra ID Active Directory as well?

No, Telavox can only receive information from Entra ID, but not send to it, i.e. it has only “read” rights, but not “write”.
