A softphone is a program you install on your computer or tablet. It works just like a regular phone, but it also has other relevant functions.
When you log in to your softphone via Telavox, you're greeted by a simple user interface. There, you can see all your colleagues' status and make, connect and answer incoming calls. The only difference is that the calls go over the Internet instead of the regular telephone network.
A softphone does not require any expensive hardware such as fixed phones nor smartphones for your employees. All you need is an internet connection for your PC or tablet.
With a softphone in your laptop or phone, you are truly mobile. Softphones use VoIP technology, which makes it easy to make calls even while abroad.
You just need to install the software, log in and plug in the headset – then you can start using the computer as a phone immediately.
Voicemail, call forwarding, call recording, transfer between softphone and mobile, Caller ID… These are just some of the smart features of the Telavox softphone application!
Our integration with Google and Microsoft calendars helps you change your online status automatically. You can also change profile status manually and log in or out of the hunt groups directly in the Telavox app. A Call Center Pro subscription gives you even more advanced functions like pause system, auto-logout, and much more.

Add or remove agents from the queueing system and keep track of their performance through basic stats. These features are available from the same interface as all other functions of the Telavox softphone app.
Our softphone can be fully integrated with your CRM or helpdesk platform. All functions, including advanced calling features, queueing system, and stats, can be made available directly from Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Dynamics, Hubspot, Freshdesk, Zendesk and soon Salesforce.
